Advocating For Those Who Cant- Frontera Fund From Lacey and Larkin Are Helping Those Who Cant


For the undocumented people of Arizona, the state is home to over 325,000 people. The Maricopa County area has no assistance for those who are eligible for low income assistance for their legal experitese who are under the risk of being deported. For the immigrants that are living in Arizona, they are forced to go through the legal process without having any type of legal representation.

The JIF project, Justice for Immigrants and their families will help to provide the access to legal representation or assistance finding someone who can help them with their legal problems. Read more: Michael Lacey | Crunchbase

The JIF project is going to help the immigrants who are facing the risk of being deported and give them the training they need for future endeavors in the legal system. They will also help them to obtain the attorney they need through the use of pro-bono cases.

The project will help those to understand and know their rights as well as providing group workshops and access to all of the self-help manuals they need to get the results they want.

It also helps to find other programs that will provide the empowerment and support the immigrants need to get out of situations that could cause their deportment.

The Justice for Immigrants and their families is in the startup phase and is a part of PLAN, Phoenix Legal Action Network, the number of attorneys who help to provide the pro-bono services to the rights of the women, immigrants, religious people who are a minority, and even members of the LGBTQ+ members in the community.

The Justice for Immigrants network is also advocating for the people who are entitled to free speech but are under circumstances where they cannot use it, the rights to vote and also to hold the police accountable for actions they have caused. They are also actively involved with the criminal justice reformation.

Two people who are actively helping other groups and foundations to help others who are at risk of being deported or from being held accountable for something they did not do, the Lacey and Larkin Frontera Fund.

They know about being the center of something that has led to their arrest and holding against a violation of their first amendment. They were caused a lot of emotional strain and emotional damages when they were held against their will for something that they wrote that was done under the free speech civil right.
